We’re heading into the final stretch leading up to this year’s Denver St Baldrick’s event.. a little less than two weeks until the day that Team Tuesday ‘braves the shave’ at Fado’s. As many of you know, this cause is near and dear to my heart, and it’s pretty special to have witnessed first hand the growth and the impact of Team Tuesday – from their very first participation in St. Baldrick’s in 2010, to now having a team of upwards of 57 amazing people dedicated towards raising money to fund pediatric cancer research.
For the small group pictured above, this year is particularly significant – each of them has been shaving with Team Tuesday since the very beginning; this year they will become ‘knights of the bald table’, an honor bestowed by St Baldrick’s to recognize seven years of service. Seven. Years. For many of them, that’s more than half their lives! I am blown away by each of them. Their perseverance. Their courage. Their selflessness.
