Karen & Brian are the kind of people that light up when they see each other. Seriously beam. And their joy is completely contagious. It has been such an honor working with them for their Estes Park mountain wedding at Mary’s Lake Lodge.
these two surround themselves with such amazing people – here’s Karen with her bridesmaids
and Brian with his groomswoman :)
Their outdoor ceremony at Mary’s Lake Lodge was such an honest reflection of their love for one and other, personal and intimate.
love this sweet moment at the beginning of the ceremony between Brian and his mom
under the ceremony altar – married!
a few of Karen & Brian’s incredible details – vintage map invitations and programs, a custom wax seal, cakes on tree stands and orange detail on the ties & bouquets.. and my favorite: the bride’s orange Chuck Taylor’s with their wedding date embroidered (something blue :) on the back. LOVE!
the toasts were so heartfelt and touching, beginning with Brian’s dad playing the guitar – not a dry eye in the house
and lastly, another favorite from their first look -with a backdrop of colorful aspen with a view of Long’s Peak in the distance. A perfect Colorado landscape, and given their love of the nature, so perfectly them.
Congratulations, Karen & Brian – my warmest wishes to you both!
Kudos to one of my all-time favorites wedding planners Gabby from Save the Date Events, who coordinated the event down to every last stunning detail with flawless perfection. Some of the other vendors who contributed to the success of the day include: Mary’s Lake Lodge – venue for the wedding ceremony and reception, floral provided by Whole Foods, delicious cakes created by Elyse McGraw of Icing, Etc, and DJ Ken Hiatt of Quality Mobile Sound rocked the house.
